Copper Nickel Screws are made from Cu-Ni alloys containing about 70 to 90% copper and 10 to 30% nickel, along with small amounts of manganese and iron. These alloys offer excellent corrosion resistance, especially against saltwater and brine. Copper Nickel Screws typically show a tensile strength ranging from 350 to 500 MPa, good fatigue resistance, and stable mechanical properties at high temperatures. Their Brinell hardness is usually between 80 and 100, ensuring durability and wear resistance. They are also non-magnetic and thermally stable, making them suitable for difficult operating environments like marine vessels and chemical processing systems.
